Relay for Life

Relay for Life was started by Dr. Gordy Klatt in 1985 and has grown to an event that raises over $250 million dollars for cancer research every year.

The Indianapolis Jaycees will participate in this year?s Relay for Life. Our goal is to raise $500. The chapter will contribute $1 for every $1 raised, up to $250. All are welcome to come out to walk, cheer, and donate. On Saturday, May 19, 2007, we will start walking at 6 pm at Beech Grove Elementary School, 400-m track at 13th and Main Streets, Beech Grove.
