INDIANA JAYCEES STATE CONVENTION
LOCATION: LOGANSPORT, INDIANA
The Indiana State Convention is a great chance to meet members from other chapters, participate in training sessions, and have fun! The Indiana Jaycees will award chapters for 2006 projects and install the State Board of Directors for 2007.

Indianapolis will be participating in final rounds for individual competitions, and we are also asked to bring volunteer judges to help for those events.

The Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce holds Chase Business After Hours each month. Come represent the Indianapolis Jaycees, and network with other young professionals. There will be a casual atmosphere, and there will be refreshments and hors d'oeurves.

INDY WINE FEST WITH WFYI
LOCATION: INDIANA ROOF BALLROOM, 140 W. WASHINGTON ST.
Come help at the inaugural event between WFYI Public Broadcasting and the Indianapolis Jaycees! On Friday, February 9th, WFYI will be holding its 8th Annual WineFest, and the Jaycees have been invited to help host the event. As part of hosting the event, the Jaycees will be doing things such as taking tickets, working the coat check, and passing out programs. With your help, we can make this inaugural event a great success and open the door for many more great opportunities.

We will be working 2 shifts at this event: 5:00-7:30 p.m., and 7:00-9:30 p.m. Stay late or come early and enjoy the wine festival!

Jaycees is committed to sending 25 volunteers, so sign up now to make sure we meet our goal!

The Indianapolis Jaycees serve as an outlet for people to contribute their time, energy and skills to better themselves and the community in which they live.  Members and non members alike are welcome to volunteer at any of our events so we encourage you to get involved by getting in touch with us for any of the projects above.  If you are between the ages of 21 and 40 and are interested in participating with the leadership of the organization, membership is only $85/year.  Via chairing projects and serving on the Jaycees board, our members have limitless opportunities to build leadership and management skills that can be directly used in their careers.  If you'd like to join, please contact us at info@indyjaycees.org.
