M-NIGHT
LOCATION: SCOTTY'S BREWHOUSE, 3905 E. 96TH ST.
What is an M-Night? It's a chance for members and prospective members gather in a social atmosphere to build relationships and share in the Jaycee spirit.

In 1996 Scotty opened the Brewhouse at Ball State. Since then, 3 more have popped up in popular cities across Indiana. Many graduates of current “Scotty’s cities” (Bloomington/IU, Muncie/BSU and West Lafayette/PU) move after college. Some go out West, some to Chicago, some down South; but, a large majority of graduating seniors head to Indianapolis. Join us for M-Night at the newest location! www.scottysbrewhouse.com.

A note from the Board

2007 is off to a good start and we have exciting things upcoming in the year!

Our first M-Night of the year is tomorrow night (Tuesday) at Scotty’s Brewhouse from 7 – 9 ! Come out with us to relax, unwind, meet a few new Jaycee faces and check out one of the newest local hangouts.

The membership team has created a strategic plan and we are working on goals that we have set for the year. Our biggest goal for the year is recruiting. We will be working on forming relationships to encourage corporate sponsorships, canvassing apartment complexes with flyers, and following up on prospective members making sure all their questions are answered and that they feel comfortable. We will also be holding bi-monthly M-Nights at new and exciting locations as well as attending Indy Hub events to promote the chapter. We are working closely with Traci Powell, the Marketing VP to create new membership materials. Our goal is for everyone in Indy to know who we are!

While we have goals and aspirations for the coming year, we can not get there without your help! Tell your friends, family, coworkers about the Jaycees and help us revitalize the chapter!

Please let us know if there is anything we can do to serve our members better. We are always open to comments and suggestions.

Hope to see you at Scotty’s! Have a fantastic week!

The Indianapolis Jaycees serve as an outlet for people to contribute their time, energy and skills to better themselves and the community in which they live.  Members and non members alike are welcome to volunteer at any of our events so we encourage you to get involved by getting in touch with us for any of the projects above.  If you are between the ages of 21 and 40 and are interested in participating with the leadership of the organization, membership is only $85/year.  Via chairing projects and serving on the Jaycees board, our members have limitless opportunities to build leadership and management skills that can be directly used in their careers.  If you'd like to join, please contact us at info@indyjaycees.org.

"This Week with the Indianapolis Jaycees" is a weekly update for Jaycee members and prospective members. To be removed from this list, please send an e-mail to remove@indyjaycees.org.
