Want a fun way to volunteer? The Indianapolis Metropolitan High School is throwing a carnival for its students and internship site mentors. We need people that are willing to help out on Friday, May 11th so that our teachers can participate in the celebration as well. Duties might include running a game booth, manning the dunk tank, dressing up in a clown costume, serving food, helping with registration, etc… Volunteers need to be able to commit to arriving at 2:00 to prep for the carnival that starts at 3:00 and depart a little after the carnival ends at 5:00. The Indianapolis Jaycees serve as an outlet for people to contribute their time, energy and skills to better themselves and the community in which they live.  Members and non members alike are welcome to volunteer at any of our events so we encourage you to get involved by getting in touch with us for any of the projects above.  If you are between the ages of 21 and 40 and are interested in participating with the leadership of the organization, membership is only $85/year.  Via chairing projects and serving on the Jaycees board, our members have limitless opportunities to build leadership and management skills that can be directly used in their careers.  If you'd like to join, please contact us at info@indyjaycees.org.
