Indianapolis Jaycees members were recognized this month at the annual Awards & Installation Banquet, held at Easley Winery.
Board members distributed the following certificates:
- Armbruster Award: Annie Hernandez Varbanov
- Stanley K. Lacy Award: Dawn Hetzel
- Outstanding Service Award: Cornbooth – Dawn Hetzel and Kevin
Cassells
- Milestone Award: Clay Hicks
- Jaycee of the Year: Traci Powell
- Richard E. Rowland Award: Jeff Higbie
- Presidential Service Awards: Marc Tardiff, Steve Rupp, Becky Crane
- Project of the Year: Food Basket – Brian Parker and Chrissy Vasquez
Five new members also participated in a new member induction ceremony. Brian Arnold, Kevin Cassells, Ryan Hayes, Shane Kennedy, and Michael Sargent all repeated the Jaycees oath, led by Traci Powell.

| The Indianapolis Jaycees
serve as an outlet for people to contribute their time, energy and skills
to better themselves and the community in which they live. Members
and non members alike are welcome to volunteer at any of our events so
we encourage you to get involved by getting in touch with us for any of
the projects above. If you are between the ages of 21 and 40 and
are interested in participating with the leadership of the organization,
membership is only $85/year. Via chairing projects and serving on
the Jaycees board, our members have limitless opportunities to build
leadership and management skills that can be directly used in their careers.
