2007 BOARD GOALS

Hello Jaycees!

The Administrative team is hard at work, and it's time to share some of our goals with you. While a lot of our responsibilities happen behind the scenes (taking care of the Jaycees office, planning the Board meetings, etc.), there are definitely results that YOU, as a member, will see.

First, we are taking a closer look at communication to all members. We've been making small changes to re-vamp the This Week e-mail to make it more useful, informative, and easier to read. We would also like to periodically send an e-mail newsletter with feature content to let you take an in-depth look at our Chapter's members and projects.

Our website is another important communication tool that we are updating with details of all events. Links within our informative e-mails will take users to our website and allow them to find the details they need. It is also our goal to improve the calendar area of the site, and add some new interactivity.

All board members are helping us keep a balanced budget throughout the year. We hope that the quality fundraisers we conduct, along with smart spending, will allow us to make the financial contributions to our major projects such as Clothe-A-Child and Food Basket later this year. Members will also be able to attend a lot of our Chapter events free of charge, with a nominal fee for non-members.

We hope that you continue to send your thoughts and feedback throughout the year. We are here to serve the membership, and we'd love to hear from you!
